within these rigid structures, threads that bind?
Must I comply with your specified time,
and echo thoughts that you accept?
Why must these bars limit my range of vision?
What kind of connection has become stale?
Change, anxiety, and rehearsed words
Does my attention serve your flimsy story?
Unchain me from these societal norms;
I am not a puppet, but a free soul.
Do you demand my strength for your renown?
I desire freedom, not conformity’s forms.
