RUMBIDZAI CROWN GASHU
R edeemer, teach me your ways,
U nfailingly your ways won’t lead me astray,
M ay you guide my steps in your path,
B efore my birth the path you designed for me,
I shall follow it until the unknown day of my death
D uring this journey may I be led by faith not fear,
Z appy may I appreciate this gift of life and hold it so dear,
A nd may this heart be always full of joy rather than anger,
I nfinitely be filled with love rather than hate.
C an I seize opportunities before it’s too late.
R abbi, may you help me be a problem solver and not the cause,
O n account that I inflict pain to others, may you give me
W ithout limit the courage to accept my mistakes and apologize,
N evertheless, may I be willing to forgive and love those who wrong me and keep my heart pure free of burdens.
G od, may I live harmoniously with those I meet along the way,
A nd may they see and feel your love and presence through me,
S ince I also need them the same way that they need me,
H elp me to be willing to help whenever I can and whenever the need be,
U h, for without them I may feel alone but with them my world is complete.
