Synopsis

The novel follows Shelton, a young man who is weary of his domineering mother pressuring him to marry. In a desperate attempt to break away from her grip, he hires Mpho, a destitute and desperate young lady, as his surrogate.
The story takes a surprising turn when Shelton and Mpho unexpectedly fall in love. Despite their unconventional arrangement, the two are determined to make their love work. However, in order to make their outlandish claims a reality, they must overcome a number of hurdles along the way.
