CATHERINE SIMON UDU
C harm is deceitful and beauty fades,
A ctually my mother deserves praise.
T rimmed with virtues,
H ow embodiment of love she is
E xemplification of affection.
R eal color of compassion
I nspiration of her complexion.
N icety dye of dedication,
E mblem of perseverance.
S he treads the path that few men dare,
I nfluence is her fabric’s thread,
M other’s will is made of steel,
O! Her resolve is drawn from fire.
N ow and forever, she defends her husband’s honor and protects her children’s future.
U nanimously her legacy, her sacrifice,
D istinguished quintessence of motherhood,
U h… My mother, whom I love.
