MIRANDA NDLOVU
M erely eat the elephant in the room,
I nundate your rationality.
R eject the voices,
A nd close your eyes.
N urture disillusion,
D rive into your fantasy.
A lone and far, become an island.
N onetheless be uninhabitable,
D on’t let them conquer you.
L et yourself be harsh and unapproachable, and you won’t be hurt.
O vertire the hopes inside, suffocate it in it’s cradle.
V eil your inner core in the fortress of solitude.
U ntarnished and pure, there it will remain safe.
